RCB to Provide Financial Aid to Victims’ Families . A major update has come out regarding the stampede incident involving the Bangalore team. The RCB franchise will provide financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each to the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede. The incident occurred yesterday outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore during RCB’s victory celebration. Due to the chaos, 11 people died and around 50 others were injured.
While some of the injured have recovered and returned home, a few are still in critical condition. RCB has announced that along with compensation to the deceased’s families, they will also provide medical assistance to the injured.
This incident has now taken a political turn as well. The BJP has continuously targeted the government, questioning how the authorities failed to assess and manage the crowd properly.
