Now India can still qualify for the semifinals!

The Indian players did not show maturity against Australia. The performance of the Indian women’s team in the ongoing T20 World Cup against Australia was quite disappointing. Only captain Harmanpreet Kaur was able to spend more time at the crease; no other player managed to do so. There was a small partnership between Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma, but a mistake by Deepti led to Australia’s advantage.

Despite fighting hard, they fell short by 9 runs. The Australian team scored 151 runs, losing 8 wickets while batting first. In response, the Indian team was just 9 runs short of victory. Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh fought till the end but could not lead the team to victory. Harmanpreet scored 54 runs and remained unbeaten. With this defeat, it will now be challenging for the Indian team to reach the semifinals. Today, there will be a match between New Zealand and Pakistan. If New Zealand loses this match, India can qualify for the semifinals based on a higher run rate.
